I have been taking this product for over 5 years. I take it every morning in Black coffee. I started using this product as a way to heal my gut because I suffered from a lot of food allergies which my provider suggested was due to leaky gut. Several years later I have been able to eat things that I wasn't able to eat before, in moderation. However though I started taking it for my stomach I noticed that my joint pain which was unbearable started diminishing. I thought it was a coincidence and came back here to read the reviews to see if anyone else was having improved joint mobility and less pain, and it seemed that other people were having the same effect. I wondered if it was anything else besides the collagen so at one point I stopped taking it and the joint pain in my hips came back. The difference was so great that I haven't stopped taking it. My joint pain in my hips was so bad that I could not lie down because I was almost in tears from the pain. Since taking this I no longer experience that. I have tried other collagen and they were not effective for me. Because of how much I like this product I have recommended it to many people who also suffered from joint pain and they also swear by it. I don't know why no one else is experiencing the benefit but maybe they're not taking it consistently. Like I said I've been taking it for 5 years and when I don't take it I notice the difference. Sadly I think I have caused the price to go up because when I first started taking it several years ago, it was only about $16. I don't know why it's not work for some of the people with the one star reviews but it has worked for me and for every single person I recommended it to. I have it on subscribe and save so that I don't go without.
