Flavor is nice though I don’t know what I was peg it as. It’s kinda waxy but that’s not a bad thing if you want a deep lot moisturizing overnight lip balm. Scrub is the same way. The scrub leaves that same moisturizer afterwards, which means I usually have to wash the edges of my mouth to get ride of the residue. - little annoying, but It’s convenient to have them both in the same container though. It’s in the photo but make note that the pink middle piece is just plastic— the balm/scrub is in the cap and much shallower then I expected. For the price I would’ve wanted more but it works well for what it is.I have purchased this twice for myself and as gifts for others!! The scrub side looks very smooth when you first open so I see why some think both sides are gloss. When you apply it, you’ll see it’s definitely a sugar scrub. Be careful when rubbing in the scrub. Sometimes I get a little overzealous and rub too much and have caused discomfort.So I have been using this product for 3 days now and I like it. I like how convenient it is to have a scrub and mask/balm in the same container and that also not too big of the container. Its super awesome to carry it around. It is super moisturing and leaves that smooth soft effect for more than 6-7 hours. I scrub my lips before bed every night since I got it and it has keep my lips super soft the entire night. So far I have had a good experience with it.Works great. I bite my lips and they are always chapped. This product has helped so much make my lips nice and soft. Only issue is it is not labeled which side to use first. I figured it out from other reviews.I like it. It was really easy to use and results lasted couple day. Brilliant idea to keep both, scrub and balm together in place.It does work! Only reason I’m giving 4 is because it’s just to small. The jar is tiny, the applicator is so small it kinda hurts to hold firmly in my hand. But I notice differences every time I use it.I LOVE this product! I am praying to the gods that they will come out with just the lip balm by itself because I would literally buy it in bulk! My lips have completely changed as far as how smooth they are without them becoming chapped or cracked. If I could give this product 50 stars I would!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!I’m giving it a 4/5 because I feel like the scrub part of the product isn’t as effective as I would have liked.Do Not Buy should come with a warning.! Threw mine down the drain after I knew what was in it and that one ingredient is being used , has done past & in current crisis. Google the one ingredient that I have highlighted (Shocking!) absolutely shocking.. Looking at the name of this says it all. ALIVER... Minus the letter A and spells Liver.. Not only that but another ingredient Is HORN :(You DECIDE...I love this . It’s my first time buying it . Have been using it for 3 weeks now during lock down. So I have been consistent. I think you can only notice the results with consistent use (as with anything!)I apply it at least twice a day and keep my lips moisturised with other lip balms in between. I love the exfoliating part as it’s quite effective at removing dead skin. Following it with the moisturising lip balm , which is amazing. Leaves ur lips feeling so soft .I feel like it has also lightened some pigmentation that I had in my lips !It’s quite small and compact but a cute tub. Will definitely order more.Nice little mask. My lips have always been extremely dry and I have definitely seen a massive difference in the morning after using this mask. Knocked a star off because the exfoliating part doesn’t seem to work on my lips.I had to read many reviews to find out the scrub is on the bottom part as it does not specify. I would not say this is a miracle product but you wake up with moisturized, pinkish, healthy-looking lips after using it. It's a process, you simply have to have a good regiment, but will definitely purchase again!Problem: very dry lips due to a medication I take, which dries my lips out, cracks them and darkens the natural lip colour.Bought this item: to exfoliate the dead skin and remove the darkness of the lip colour.Results/Opinion: I have been using the scrub for 3 nights now.What I do:1. apply a blob of the exfoliant scrub on to a SOFT bristle manual toothbrush. And gently scrub over the lips for a good 5 minutes. I do not wipe it off at all. I leave it on. I then apply the balm on top and rub my lips together so both exfoliant and balm are absorbed into lips.2. For further exfoliation, i then apply a thick layer of Eucerin Intensive Urea Cream. (Meant for extremely dry skin, it is the BEST dry skin product ever).3. Finally I dab tiny amount of UREA LACTIC ACID CREAM on my lips, which obviously tingles, because of the lactic acid. You are not really supposed to put it on lips, but my lips are so dry and have become so dark looking, I need to go to extreme lengths. The urea lactic acid cream, has removed dark dry skin pigmentation from my knees and spot marks on my legs from ingrown hairs. Because it removes the layer of dead skin so well. It’s amazing and you only need a tiny bit - it’s called CALMURID CREAM, but they have stupidly taken it off the market. Thankfully I have a few tubes to last me a while.CONCLUSION: you can make your own exfoliant very easily at home for a fraction of the price, you just need the granulated sugar, because that’s what it tastes like - sweet, you can make it at home. Probably ten tonnes of it for the price of this tiny tub. Product is so small for the price.It’s the exfoliant and a soft toothbrush that do the job, really. And, if you have something with urea in it or lactic acid even better - a real ‘peel’, it will work well.Before I started exfoliating with the toothbrush and exfoliant, (you can also use St Ives face wash as an exfoliant as well! The one with the gritty bits in! Will last you a lifetime for lip exfoliation compared to this tiny tub!!) I used Elizabeth Arden 8 hr Cream (orange gloopy one - a staple) all over my lips. No difference. So, I conclude exfoliation is the key. But there is nothing ‘active’ in this exfoliant that warrants the price and the tiny amount you get for it.I can feel the urea lactic acid cream working on my lips and i Keep applying throughout the day and even drinking with straws so it doesn’t rub off my lips!! I believe that is what will remove the dark dead skin to be honest. That’s why I’m not scoring this highly.Ciao!
